I come from a family of visual artists so my first crush with art supplies was with the Design markers from my mom’s desk. They had that kind of smell that you just love but nowadays seems it was kind of toxic. I was very young in that moment but from what I have researched on the internet, seems that they dryed up really fast. For me the only experience was that the way they colored was too overwhelming for me, the ink seemed to expand real quick.

The next time my cousin had a huge box full of it and really cute bird drawings made with them so I thought to myself that there was a person who had pretty decent results so maybe it was just about patience.

So few years after, I share with you my sketches and little notebook experiments for this that has become one of my favorite techniques.
